Note — this installation currently runs the URL Extractor (website URL discovery with Excel export), EQA11y (WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 accessibility audit), DOC Extractor (every document the site publishes) and DOC Test (those documents against WCAG and PDF/UA). The other engines described below are part of the platform but are switched off here.
AI-assisted WCAG compliance platform

Web, mobile and PDF accessibility —
proven with evidence.

EmpowerQA audits websites, mobile apps and PDF documents against WCAG 2.2, GIGW 3.0 and the RPwD Act — then hands you the screenshots, VPAT and Excel workbooks that prove it.

Why EmpowerQA

Four core capabilities other accessibility tools don't have

Most scanners give you a rule dump and a green tick. EmpowerQA is built around the four problems that actually cost teams time: too many screens to learn, reports that don't speak your site's language, estimates you can't act on, and results you can't trust.

One scanner, not six

Other tools scatter website, mobile-app, PDF, screen-reader and manual checks across separate pages your people have to learn one at a time. EmpowerQA folds all of it into a single guided flow: pick what you're auditing — a website, a mobile app or a PDF — and only the checks that apply appear. The whole product is three destinations — Scanner, History, About — so there is one workflow to train, and the classic "why does this work on one page but not another?" simply cannot happen.

Your site's own language, in your own report

Page titles in Devanagari, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Arabic and Urdu appear in your inventory exactly as your site writes them — not as Untitled. If you audit a Marathi or Telugu government site, every row is one you can match against your own site map.

An estimate that says how confident it is

A page count read from a sitemap can be too high or too low — a site serving twenty-three languages at one address looks twenty-three times bigger than it is. We say which method produced your number, that it is unverified, and give you one button to crawl the site properly before you commit to a price.

It watches itself — a green tick never lies

A "passed" scan that actually reached nothing is worse than an honest failure. An always-on watchdog — every engine reporting to a single unified event bus — catches the silent failures other tools hide — a crawl that hit a wall, a frozen preview, a dropped device — redacts every secret before it says a word, and emails your team the moment something looks wrong. Only one scan runs at a time, so every result is reproducible, and any automated self-healing is opt-in and strictly bounded — it never runs away on its own.

The engines

Every accessibility surface, one platform

Websites, native mobile apps and PDF documents — audited against the same standards, by engines that pick themselves based on what you give them. Engines marked BETA are in active development and available on request.

Across every engine

What you get on top of the scans

Capabilities that apply to every module, whichever surface you audit.

AI Advisory Panel

Claude, Gemini and Vertex AI each review your findings and suggest concrete code-level fixes — with a compliance score and a WCAG / GIGW / RPwD breakdown.

VPAT & Excel report

A VPAT conformance report — PDF and HTML, identical across all 51 criteria — plus a multi-sheet Excel report with a tab per test case, annotated screenshots, WCAG mapping, severity and remediation steps. “Supports” is claimed only where the scan could assess a criterion and found nothing. Every page also reads as a named test case with its own pass/fail verdict and a step-by-step execution log of what the scan actually did.

Quality & governance

Iteration logs, defect log, test artefacts and infrastructure dashboards — the audit trail behind every release of the platform itself.

API access

Bearer-token API keys with role-scoped permissions, so scans can be triggered from your own CI/CD pipeline.

History & comparison

Runs kept for 5 days with per-page evidence, so you can compare releases side by side. Download the Excel and VPAT, or e-mail yourself an archive, to keep a permanent copy.

Role-based access

Admin, client, viewer and report roles — give stakeholders a read-only sign-in instead of handing out the whole platform.

How it works

Website, mobile app or PDF — the same four steps

Give us a URL, an APK or IPA, a store listing or a document. The workflow is identical whichever surface you're auditing — and for web, store-listing and PDF audits there is nothing to install, so a brand-new laptop is ready the moment you sign in.

1

Point us at it

A website URL, an APK or IPA upload, a Play/App Store listing, or a PDF. We count the pages, screens or document structure up front — so you know the effort before you commit.

2

The right engine runs it

Web crawls bypass bot protection; apps drive real emulators, simulators or cloud devices and handle login and OTP screens; PDFs get their tag tree walked. You pick nothing — routing is automatic.

3

Review the findings

Every issue is mapped to a WCAG criterion and pinned to the exact element or page region, highlighted on a real screenshot — with an AI-suggested fix.

4

Export the evidence

Download a VPAT conformance report and an Excel report with annotated screenshots — the artefacts auditors and procurement teams ask for.

Or drive it yourself

Interactive Manual Audit — for the pages a crawler can never reach

Some of the most important screens are ones no crawler will ever find: a checkout three steps into a cart, a form that must be filled in a specific order, a dashboard behind a multi-stage login, a screen that only appears after a particular gesture. In Interactive mode you drive a real browser or a real device yourself and audit any page or screen on demand. Ending the session produces exactly the same consolidated report — VPAT, Excel and annotated screenshots included. Choose the browser (Chromium, Firefox or Safari/WebKit) and the device (desktop, mobile or tablet), switch device part-way through, and go full screen when you need to see fine detail. A guided session also produces the same artefacts an automated crawl does — Visited URLs (priced, with a copyable list) and an Export CSV in the identical structure.

Standards

Audited against the frameworks that matter

WCAG 2.2

The current W3C recommendation — including the newer focus, target-size and authentication success criteria.

WCAG 2.1 A & AA

The conformance level most procurement contracts and accessibility policies are written against.

GIGW 3.0

India's Guidelines for Indian Government Websites — mandatory for central and state government portals.

RPwD Act 2016

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act — the statutory basis for digital accessibility obligations in India.

Section 508

US federal procurement accessibility criteria, reported through the VPAT conformance template.

Beyond the engines

The platform around the scans

AI Advisory Panel

Independent AI reviewers analyse your findings, score compliance and suggest code-level fixes — a second opinion on every audit.

Self-monitoring reliability

An embedded watchdog, fed by a single unified event bus every engine reports to, catches the silent failures a green checkmark hides — a scan that reached nothing, a frozen view, a dropped device — scrubs any secrets, and alerts the team. One scan runs at a time, so results are always reproducible.

Released only when it works

A set of critical journeys — run a scan, find it in your history, download the report, delete it — is re-proven before every single release, and if one of them fails the release stops. We check the outcome of each action, not whether a button exists, because a passing test suite is not the same thing as a working product.

Role-based access

Admin, client, viewer and share-only report roles — external stakeholders see exactly the reports you share with them, nothing else.

API & integrations

Bearer-token API access, webhooks and email notifications — wire audits into your CI/CD pipeline or ticketing flow.

Who it's for

Built for the teams who have to prove compliance

Government portals

Demonstrate GIGW 3.0 and RPwD Act conformance across large multi-page estates, with per-page evidence you can attach to a compliance filing.

Enterprises

Keep web and mobile products audit-ready between releases, and answer procurement accessibility questionnaires with a current VPAT.

Agencies & consultants

Scope engagements accurately, cut manual audit hours, and hand clients branded reports backed by screenshots rather than raw rule dumps.
